Introduction

The racket has a diamond shape, high balance, and a sweet spot located in the upper part of the head.

The core is made of the new material Multilayered Black Eva consisting of layers with different densities to benefit both slower and harder shots.

Carbon fiber is used in the frame and the surface consists of 12K carbon fiber. It also used Nox technology Rough Surface, meaning it has an embossed structure to provide more spin.

To reduce vibrations, Nox uses AVS technology. It comes with a separate frame protector.

First impression

The twin sisters Alayeto recently signed for Nox and has since then developed their rackets. MJ10 is the choice of Majo. She is the more aggressive backhand-player and the MJ10 is developed to suit her playing style. The red, black and white color combo looks great, and the finish is quality.

Our test racket weighs about 372 grams with two overgrip while the balance measures 260 mm.

Nox MJ10 Luxury 2021 in the defense

Our first impression is that the MJ10 is easy to maneuver and that it seems to be a fast racket.

The new core consisting of layers with different densities provide a relatively firm feel. It delivers good results in the defensive game, providing control in precision shots and lobs. Being a diamond-shaped racket it requires a certain level of experience. That being said, the MJ10 is relatively forgiving when hitting the ball outside the sweet spot area.

Nox MJ10 Luxury 2021 in the attack

In the attack, it’s easy to move into the right positions. The diamond shape and higher balance help generate power in volleys and bandejas. Smashes also benefit from the properties of the racket, making it suitable for players looking to finish points on their own. We like the textured surface as it helps us to generate a touch of extra spin when needed.

Nox MJ10 Luxury 2021 playability & comfort

Playability and comfort are important factors when choosing a padel racket. Beginners and intermediate-level players generally benefit from a racket with good playability. A comfortable racket reduces the risk of injuries.
